CREAM CHEESE PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES


Cream cheese adds a lovely flavor and texture to these irresistible Cream Cheese Peanut Butter Cookies.

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 & 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup creamy or crunchy peanut butter
  • sanding sugar, for garnish

DIRECTIONS:
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone liners.
  2. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
