Boston Cream Pie Poke Cake


Boston Cream Pie Poke Cake – Major crowd-pleasing cake filled with vanilla pudding and sweetened condensed milk and topped with a homemade chocolate frosting!!

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 box yellow cake mix plus ingredients to make cake
  • 1 3.5 oz. instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
  • Frosting
  • 1½ sticks butter, softened
  • ¾ cup cocoa powder
  • ½ cup boiling water
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 5 cups powdered sugar

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Bake cake according to box mix directions in a 13 x 9 pan.
  2. While cake is in the oven, mix pudding mix with 2 cups of milk. Whisk until combined and let sit for 2 minutes or until thickened. Whisk again for a few seconds.
